Itinerary

DAY 01: Arrival at Sharm El-Sheikh international airport meets and assists trough formalities, then transfer to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 02: Drive to Serabit El-Khadem, underway visit Moses fresh spring which is one of Moses biblical sites where he stopped to fetch up water to his people during the exodus. Proceed to Sarabit to overnight.

“Serabit el-Khadem, is a locality in the south-west Sinai Peninsula where turquoise was mined extensively in antiquity, mainly by the ancient Egyptians. Archaeological excavation, initially by Sir Flinders Petrie, revealed the ancient mining camps and a long-lived Temple of Hathor, the Egyptian goddess who was favored as a protector in desert regions."

DAY 03: After breakfast; getting to know to our camel drivers and our camels for the next few days. By now we are just learning how to ride and tend a camel. Proceed to the footsteps of Gabal Sarabit (Sarabit Mountain) our plan today is to visit the remains of the only old-age Egyptian temple built by the pharos in Sinai Peninsula. The temple named after the goddess Hathor and the ruins assert the frequent campaigns of the pharos to explore and mine the Sinai's turquoise treasures. Descent for lunch, proceed to Wadi Baala (dry river bed). Overnight around a water spring.

DAY 04: After breakfast a worm up walk to the cliff of Wadi Baala. We expect to see the awesome panoramic view of Wadi Baala. Again on camels through Wadi Sahw. Walking up Mount El-Edidia. Stop for lunch. In the afternoon walk up mount El-Eididia to re-explore the most ancient turquoise mines in Sinai. Descent; overnight at El-Edidia plain.

DAY 05: By now we all have become use to every day's routine-ride and drive our lunch today is served on top of Gabal Om Bogma. An extensive scale of panorama overlooking the red sea in the horizon ( Gulf of Suez) enough time for lunch and taking in such breath-taking view while the desert offering generously its indescribable beauty and magnificence.

DAY 06: We wake up on the smell of the Bedouin bread being cocked on the fire. After breakfast; today we are all eager to approach El-Shalal canyon. Return back to our camp site to pack and set off again. Proceed to the cliff of Wadi ElAloga for lunch. In the afternoon visit the spring of ElNasab; proceed to overnight at Wadi Abu-Sour (an oasis).

DAY 07: Set off through Wadi Abu Sour passing by El-Rekaiz spring to reach canyon El-Samra – Wadi El-Samara to overnight.

DAY 08: Wadi El-Samra – Wadi El-Khraig to overnight (a real wilderness).

DAY 09: Our final day on camels (a welcome experience). Today we close our circuit as we return back to our first day starting point to overnight. A chance to say goodbye nicely and properly to our Bedouin companions. Do not forget to document these sensational moments in a group farewell photograph.

DAY 10: Drive by jeeps to El-Teeh height (identified with the area where the wanderings of the Israelites mostly took place) visits the park of pillars. Proceed to Wadi Mokatab known for its multitude Nabatian inscriptions (100 B.C to 300 A.C) proceed to the monastery of seven none's (4 century). Head off towards St.Catherine. Time to freshen up before walking up Mount Sinai; a sacred mountain for believers of the three main monotheistic religions where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. We climb three quarters of the way up to Elijah's Plateau where we camp for the night under the stars.

DAY 11: we rise at 4:00 am to climb the final section of the mountain. We arrive at the summit – 7500 feet above sea level – in time for a spectacular Sunrise over the mountains of south Sinai. Time for some tea on the top then we return down the mountain- either by the camel path or the “steps of repentance". After breakfast, we visit St.Catherine Monastery situated at the foot of Mount Sinai. 6th century monastery that houses one of the most important icons collection on earth. In addition to the biblical site of the burning bush and Moses well. Lunch in a nearby restaurant and a chance to freshen up. Drive In the afternoon to visit Nawamis, the most ancient grave yard everfound in Sinai from the chalcolathic period 5000 P.C. drive to the oasis of Ain El-Khodra (associated with biblical Hazerot) a new dimension of splendor and beauty speaks for itself. Overnight.

DAY 12: After breakfast, drive to visit the Color Canyon, lunch, head off towards Ras Abu-Galum to overnight {Nature-Reserve}.

DAY 13: Drive to Dahab on the Gulf of Aqaba, proceed to Wadi Keed to overnight.

DAY 14: Drive to Ras Mohamed known as the most beautiful diving spot on earth. A chance to snorkeling and swimming among the beautiful colorful fishes of the red sea. Drive back to Sharm El-Sheikh. Check-in and overnight. About 30 km south of Sharm El Sheikh there is the southernmost part of Sinai: the Ras Mohamed. With its extraordinary beauty it is one of the or for some even the most interesting site in Sinai. This first and only Egyptian National Park was declared in 1983 with an area of 97m². Since then it has been extended to 480km² and includes marine and terrestrial areas.

DAY 15: Transfer to the airport for final departure
